Badger fans can now rest assured that the Jamal Cooper soap opera is over. In dismissing him from the team on a permanent, not "indefinite" basis, Coach B achieved classic addition by subtraction by cutting a clubhouse cancer. Cooper's talent is undeniable, but his practice antics and poor classroom performance threatened a team ready to contend for the BT title. Kurt Ware will fill in ably at end opposite stud Matt Shaughnessy, and Kirk Decremer is ready to give #34 a blow when he taps his helmet.

Lance Smith, be forewarned. This train's heading to Pasadena, and it won't be derailed by any one individual, for character counts, and wearing Badger red on Saturday in front of 80,000 fans is a privilege that should be bestowed on only those worthy of the Motion W. Helmets in the air for Coach B!
