SI 2007 Top Ten
SI's January 15, 2007 issue took a shot at predicting the top ten teams at the start of the 2007 college football season (page 42). Three Big Ten teams made the cut, and UW may have the fewest question marks in this prestigious group. Needless to say, the early props were music to my ears after this week's dis by the AP.
1. USC
2. LSU
3. Florida
4. Ohio State
5. West Virginia
6. Bucky
7. Michigan
8. Louisville
9. Texas
10. Virginia Tech
Sleepers: UCLU, South Carolina, and South Florida.

I have to disagree with SI's ranking of OSU. When it is all said and done, Pittman, Gonzalez, Ginn and Smith will be gone. Even with a very good defense (giving up a combined 80 points is not a good way to end the year), the Buckeyes will struggle to keep up with Michigan, Wisconsin and Penn State.
What is UCLU? Is it UCLA or is there something else I am totally drawing a blank on.
OSU will be down next year. I spoke to a customer earlier this week who has not missed a home game in like 13 years, and I made a comment about how our game there next year will be tough and he even said "you dont have much to worry about"
I meant UCLA
