Donovan Ready for Act II?
Given the fact that Stocco sat out last Saturday's game and shook the hands of the Iowa captains with his left paw, and the feeble opponent lined up for this Saturday, TD should start his second game of the season. Unfortunately, this will deny Stocco the opportunity to tie Bollinger for the UW record of 30 wins as a starting QB with a bowl win. Given the liklihood of facing a top team from the SEC, #7's health is too important to risk injury in a meaningless game against the Bulls.
Buffalo's starting QB is also out for Saturday's game, although a senior will take his place. The team boasts no starting lineman over 300 lbs.
Is there any talk of how the outcome of this weekend's game (Michigan-OSU) could impact UW's bowl fate? Should Michigan win big on the road and OSU drops below Bucky in the BCS standings, couldn't we be California Dreamin'?

You couldn't be more off in your takes here.
#1 Stocco has to start. It's his last game in Camp Randall, the bowl game is 6 WEEKS AWAY and he's not really a pro prospect. Even if he's at 80% he has earned the right to take the field. Look at his record over 3 seasons: the guy has been a rock of consistency, was always maligned by ignorant Badger fans, and all he did was win. He deserves this one last opportunity to take the field- even if its just to come out for one play, hand off to Hill and then go back to the sidelines and wait for Orlando.
As for going to the Rose Bowl- it's a virtual impossibility since the Big 10 can only get 2 teams in the BCS. The Mich/OSU winner is the lock and the loser is the other lock. I can't see any way that the Rose Bowl takes us over Michigan or Ohio State. While Wisconsin travels well, we didnt sell out our last Rose Bowl trip (thank you Stanford fans) and we didnt come close to selling out our allotment of tickets last year. Plus as Rod Gilmore pointed out, people just dont care about the Badgers the way they care about other teams.
If the Big 10 could get 3 at large teams, we'd have a shot- but since we can't I am looking forward to two top 10 teams meeting in O-Town on Jan 1.
